Accept

I had a couple of offers and for me this is mainly about the first and Jones. Plus pippen is a nice piece that I can flip

Why the rush? Surely there would be a better offer by the deadline

I reached out to quite a few GM’s and I wasn’t getting the kind of package back that I wanted

If he doesn’t resign I get nothing except a lower pick. I probably could’ve gotten more but the trade market dictates trade value

The "I must trade him for the best deal on the table even if it sucks" thing with a made up due date is a totally self-imposed and needless constraint that rebuilding teams continue to adopt. It just kinda sucks to see all the time.

Pippen likely gets sold for another 1st

Jones is an interesting rookie

2 1st and a rookie for Elliot seems decent at least and I doubt anyone else would have given up more since the trade market seems to have slowed a bit

Tbh I don't get the hate for Nuggets here either.

Elliott's expiring and is messing with his tank. He got a decent looking rookie + 1st + Pippen who he can move for another asset. I don't get the problem.
