I am not at all a fan of a #19 pick getting dumped for nothing.

^ I'd have given my 02 for 19 in hindsight

Oh well. Pick should have just been auto'd per his request though

Pretty questionable, I think both Lopez and Diop would have helped his team.

This is you requesting your pick to be autoed, I cant auto a pick until im on the software which wont be until tonight so its skipped until I can make the selection and wont hold up the draft bc you refuse to make a pick

Im confused where you think its okay to let the cpu pick, honestly its pretty weak

yeah, I mean, it's a mediocre team with no cap space to sign anyone, but also nowhere near the hardcap dumping a pick much better than any one that's been dumped without making any real effort to get value for it. If it were any of the newer GMs it would be an auto-veto for the Commish I assume.

^ When I ran drafts, I would typically "auto" select a very clear BPA for folks but otherwise, would just choose a position of need for them and did so without the file

To each their own, but there's probably a couple guys that would make sense to pick on Pistons behalf

Which I do when time runs out but he specifically said to CPU the pick so thats what I was going to do

That’s fair, he did specify the software

See both sides, don't think the pick should have been skipped but it's not on Ownage to pick on behalf of someone and have to take the time to make the decision they don't want to make.

Ditto; I get "CPU the pick" = software picks, but I also get that the CPU pick becomes worse the further we get. Not Ownage's job to sit in front of his computer the whole time waiting, he has a life too.

I think the easy fix here is no CPUing picks. Send lists or get skipped, and I do mean "skipped", not CPUed. If someone tries to abuse that, there should be some form of penalty, but I also think trust is important here and we shouldn't look to micromanage.

The only exception is if a GM needs to be MIA for a bit (eg. vacation), in which case they can communicate need to commish or he can just pick BPA or need, whatever he sees fit.
