Win or lose, Dixon has done pretty good considering it's his first real action of his career.

Well if they lose you can't pin it on Dixon he did everything he was supposed to do. Scored points and didn't commit any turnovers.

Damn, why didn't we let him sling it that deep while he was here?

Oh well, it happens. Can't pin the loss only on Dixon.

Dixon played well against a great defense. I think too much was asked of Dixon you can't blame him. I think the play calling could have been a little better. More play action, some screens, and maybe some bootleg or other designed runs for Dixon could have changed things. Dropping back and passing against a blitz a number of times put a lot of pressure on Dixon and made him uncomfortable. Considering everything he played well! I am proud of my boy DD! :P

Tough loss and rough game for Dixon. A QB rating of 60.6 is a bad way to start your career. Wouldnt be suprised if Pitt goes out and signs a veteran if Big Ben is going to miss any more time.

I agree, and he was responsible for 2 touchdowns. No qb's making their first start would have been better.

Sorry, but Defense didn't get it done for the Steelers tonight. They had the lead & let the Ravens back in it. The Steelers D had been doing well and then coughed up yardage for Rice. You cannot expect a brand new QB go on the road for his first start after only taking reps with the 1st string since Friday. Dennis was amazing.
