My best friend was at the game a couple days ago and said that a lot of duck players stayed on the field to watch the Husky celebration. I believe we will see a highly motivated and angry Oregon team Saturday. Ducks by at least 20.

1000% and I am sure Dan repeated that many times in the team meetings yesterday.StevensTechU wrote:The road to Vegas starts here.

Absolutely! I don’t think they will be angry but they certainly will be focused, I see this game going a lot like the Colorado game, a complete ass kicking.StevensTechU wrote:The road to Vegas starts here.

Did anyone watch WSU vs. Arizona? What's happened to WSU?

I will also say, Wazzu went from their highest ranking in 5 years and Cam Ward as potential Heisman finalist to nothing noteworthy.
You gotta imagine they'll be hungry too.

Washington State marched right down the field on their first possession for a touchdown. It looked like their offense was back on track and they would roll. Then they went for two, failed to convert, and it was all downhill from there. They went for a 4th and 1 early in the game and failed to get it. They turned it over early in the game. All of these things just snowballed on them. The Cougs finished with 3 turnvovers, compared to 0 for Arizona.StevensTechU wrote:Did anyone watch WSU vs. Arizona? What's happened to WSU?
Strategy wise, it basically came down to Zona daring the Cougs to run with light boxes and the Cougs still not being able to make them pay for it. The Cougs only averaged 1.6 yards per rush (with sacks factored in). Defensively, the Cougs did a terrible job of tackling.

Thank you very much. They looked incredibly clutch against Wisconsin and explosive against OSU, so it's so bizarre to see them get walloped at home against Zona.

Apparently WSU has been dealing with multiple injuries at TE and WR. They got WR Josh Kelly back against Arizona and may get WR Lincoln Victor and TE Cooper Mathers back against Oregon.

WSU fans seem to think it’s because Dickertt has been interviewing with Michigan St. so now the team is having issues internally. It’s probably really just lack of talent beyond a few guys.

Well, if you follow all the 'in the know' pundits, Dickert is the guy who will get the MSU job. And if not that one there will certainly be other P5 jobs that will open at the end of the season and I am sure he clearly sees the writing on the wall. Same pundits think Smith at OS might look around too. He, in my opinion is the least likely of the two to leave but ya never know.buckmarkduck wrote:WSU fans seem to think it’s because Dickertt has been interviewing with Michigan St. so now the team is having issues internally.
