Fun game! Loved being there in the cold! Great atmosphere!
31-7 is better than I hoped! Offense was efficient, a little sloppy at times in the redzone with some interesting playcalls, but the defense was outstanding to hold them to only 7! And best 4th down defense all year! Though honestly Oregon State’s OC did not call a good game IMO, with Florence out they should’ve ran quick passes all game long. Manning’s pick was fantastic but he was unable to stay with their small and quick WR’s. Hoping Florence and Johnson are healthy next week.
At this point it’s so weird to see opposing defenses continue to sell out for the run against the Oregon offense. Bo and the receivers have proven to be more than capable of making a defense pay for loading the box and playing soft coverage like that. Great game from Bo and that TD to Franklin to end the half was the best play of the season!
Now rooting for the Cougs to keep it close and get some good hits on Penix!

The running back gods had to do us a solid. James was thrown back in the water by Tennessee the same Cristobal and crew did with Jaydn Ott.rodentslayer wrote:Jordan James!
Am I the only one who feels like we don't lose a step when he is in the game? That kid is a beast out there!

What happened to Florence and why was he on crutches on the sideline?

I was. Oregon State still had DJ in the game. We've seen teams score on our second team defense and style point matter right now with a playoff birth on the line. 31-7 >>>> 31-14 or 31-10.alxtw wrote:A very good game all around.
Although, I wasn't a fan of keeping in many of the first team players on defense in the last drive of the game, when we're up 31-7.

I saw a tweet from a reporter (or maybe a blogger) that referenced media members seeing him on crutches.I thought it was a sling?

I heard the same. Which, at this time of year, pretty much means season is over for him at this point.pezsez1 wrote:I saw a tweet from a reporter (or maybe a blogger) that referenced media members seeing him on crutches.I thought it was a sling?

The Florence situation is odd since he was seen participating at practice on Monday and then he wasn't the rest of the week until being seen on crutches on Friday.

Don't think that's weird, he probably just got hurt during a practice.greenyellow wrote:The Florence situation is odd since he was seen participating at practice on Monday and then he wasn't the rest of the week until being seen on crutches on Friday.
