Meaningless stat
But I saw that Johnson has 820 receiving yards. Couple average games for him and Oregon should have 2 1,000 yard wrs.

3+ games to go, should be able to do it., especially as his production has ramped up in recent weeks.

I saw that the other day when looking at Troy relative to the other top WRs. What stands out with Troy is he essentially has Tez's numbers for the season but just in the 1st half of play. Did Maehl/Huff ever both top 1K in the same year?

Closest duo I can remember is Huff and Addison. In 2013, Huff had 1168 and Addison had 911, so really close.Duck07 wrote:I saw that the other day when looking at Troy relative to the other top WRs. The most "meaningless stat" could easily be, "PAC12 Ref Phantom PI Calls"...

Nobody in the world has enough time to count that, Jay Stricherz probably called at least 5 phantom PI calls a game back when his crew was officiating.woundedknees wrote:The most "meaningless stat" could easily be, "PAC12 Ref Phantom PI Calls"...

The words Jay Stricherz still cause an immense visceral reaction.OregonFan4Life wrote:Nobody in the world has enough time to count that, Jay Stricherz probably called at least 5 phantom PI calls a game back when his crew was officiating.woundedknees wrote:The most "meaningless stat" could easily be, "PAC12 Ref Phantom PI Calls"...
