Then again, I read the discussion last night. It looks like they are being a tad more realistic today. I am very curious to see who they end up with.

No they're going to hire Bobby Bowden... Just kidding but as I was reading the espn article quoting different coaches talking about Bowden I enjoyed this one and thought it might spark some more rumours among the Irish:

At one school and that long a career in this day and age, you just won't see it. You just admire a guy that had the stamina and did it the right way. So he is either saying he could never stay at one school too long, or maybe just means he doesn't plan on coaching until he's 80. Either way, I find it funny how Irish fans think any coach would be stupid not to leave for a job with unrealistic expectations, a delusional fan base, and the rest of the nation rooting against you.

Bob Stoops, Chris Peterson, Gary Patterson, Brian Kelly, Tony Dungy, Jon Gruden are names that people have been speculating to be possible options. I also heard that NFL teams have been in contact with Weis to become an OC again.
