Let the legend of Jackson Shelstad begin after he hits a 30-footer to beat Michigan in OT, just like Oregon did with Pritchard at Michigan in 2019.

Watched the whole game. Fun game! Nice to see Shelstad hit that game winner.

This group seems to be playing with more cohesiveness than the last few years worth of players. It is too bad the injury bug is as bad as it has been. That really handcuffs the coaching.

And 3 point shooting is very much existent. That changes a lot too.Bigwaved wrote:This group seems to be playing with more cohesiveness than the last few years worth of players. It is too bad the injury bug is as bad as it has been. That really handcuffs the coaching.

Still an early and small sample size, but Oregon is shooting threes at a 39.2% clip this year compared to 32% last year.

Anyone who has watched Jackson knew he was college ready. My favorite thing was that he missed in regulation and it did not phase him whatsoever to take shots in OT. Great sign of a kid who is fearless and believes in himself.
I've actually been really impressed with Diawara. He's a functional big man with solid basketball IQ that can catch the ball and finish... that I thought was just a roster filler for practice.
The other guy that's stood out a lot early is Jadrian Tracey. He's shooting 50% from 3 and plays really aggressive defense.

Agreed, Diawara is playing way better than I would have expected. He needs to cleanup turnovers and some mistakes here and there, but overall he's been essential for us with all the frontcourt injuries.
