Wait, so not only does Oregon's coach, the one who was featured at the national championship game, say no to Alabama, but he publicly makes a pitch to other players whose coach might be leaving to come to Oregon where nobody is leaving? What? Are we over the PTSD yet? Or the talk that Oregon is a 'stepping stone' program?

Something is going on here. Groundhog Day is over.

So who will it be?

Mike Norvell, Kalen DeBoer, or the field?

I think pieces of this have been used before, but the beginning text says start of the 2024 season, and he posted 45 minutes ago. If he's not staying after that post that might rank him below Cristobal and even Taggart in Oregon fans minds

I can’t get over the statement “if you’re afraid your coach is going to leave, then come play for Oregon.” Dan is a walking billboard!

I think with DeBoer its also weighed with a potential Seahawks offer. Does he see himself as an NFL guy or prefer the college game?

I think Norvell, with an outside chance of Bill O'Brien. Two years ago I would have said Dabo Swinney hands down, but his stock has dropped recently.

I don't have any info but I see DeBoer as someone who has an NFL mindset. He obviously isn't big on recruiting (like Chip). That's just my thoughts.

That would be devastating for FSU, though. I've never liked them, but I'd actually feel bad if Norvell left.

In less than 2 months they'd have lost their star QB to a season ending injury, get seemingly robbed from being in the CFP playoffs, having over 30 players out for their Bowl game and getting stomped by 60 points by Georgia, to losing their excellent head coach to Alabama.

Here's a thought, if Norvell "does" leave FSU, would they rehire Jimbo Fisher?

Hmmm...

I’d run through a wall for Lanning at this point, man this is an awesome feeling

Most of the video are clips from the past, Dan’s social media team posted this about an hour ago, I’m thinking at Dan’s instruction to kill the rumor….. Dan the coach who is thinking about the fans! Love him

Chuck Pagano asked him if he has any NFL aspirations and he did say as a kid he dreamt of it and then couched it with he's a big Chiefs fan and he wants Andy Reid there for a long time.

Really awesome stuff for us right now and just a seismic perception shift for recruits now with Oregon/CDL. Whether he was Bama's #1 option or not doesn't even matter now because the perception was such and he rebuffed them essentially.

I just watched Dan on the Pat McAfee show and he confirmed that he is STAYING at Oregon!

He loves it there, has all the resources he needs to succeed and his family is happy.

Case closed!!!
