Ducks started off strong but end up getting rocked 19-7 in game 1.

Furd sent 13 batters to the plate in the 9-run 8th inning. It didn't help that Turner Spoljaric came on to pitch in relief of Hellman and walked the first three batters. Three successive singles brought in 5 runs. A 3 run homer added to the carnage before anybody for the Cardinal was out. A two out double brought in the 9th run. OUCH!

Oregon makes up for yesterday by beating Stanford 17-5 in game 2.

Yuck, hopefully just a fluke. Nice big win today.

Ducks only left 4 runners on base today..........excellent efficiency!
Chase Meggers, Jacob Walsh, and Mason Neville each with a home run.
Mason Neville tripled.
Jacob Walsh and Drew Smith doubled.
Chase Meggers had 6 RBI's.
Mason Neville brought 4 runners home.

Ducks get a 5-1 lead again but can't hold on as they drop game 3 10-7 and lose their first conference series.
