Probably the most complementary post-suspension post I've read.

Blount is embarrassingly talented, and in the SEC or Big 12 would have small shrines built to him in side yards around the region.

That guy who wrote that doesn't have his facts straight.
Yes, Blount is a Freak at RB.
No, Blount was not suspended for academics, it was due to illness, thus missing a couple of workouts.

The article is from February 11th ... before we knew the reason for his suspension

Not one to spread rumors normally, but I have heard from a few reliable sources on campus that while he was not suspended for academics, he probably could/should have been. Further, I would love to believe Blount about the reason he was suspended, but those same sources suggest there may have been reasons other than sickness for him missing practice.
That said, those same sources do expect him to return and get his act together whatever the problems may be.
Once again I am not normally the type of guy to just spread rumors on here, I usually just read other peoples rumors and stress out over them, but I felt as though these sources were pretty legit. For all of you source checkers I am sorry but I am not at liberty to say who they are, but suffice it to say that they are Blount's teammates.

Well, it does seem weird that he wasn't the only player suspended at that time.

Agreed, Pritchet (sp?) was included in the discussion I had with my "Sources"

You mentioned these players expect Blount to get his act together and return. Did they mention if they expect the same from Terrance Pritchett?
