Chung puts up 225 25 times! One of the tops among DBs. And of course, Gruden giving the Oreegone Ducks more love.

Hey dt=dd, thanks for the heads-up on the video, but the link you posted is for Linebackers, so here's the link for DBs bench press: http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80ee6f98

The fact that he was the third best safety in the bench is amazing. The two guys ahead of him put up MASSIVE numbers. Chung's 25 is great news and will help him a lot.

Anybody know his 40 time?

Edit: and I love Gruden

It amazes me safeties can bench more than offensive linemen.. (ex: Chung > Unger)

Chung isn't necessarily stronger on the bench then Unger, he has shorter arms meaning less distance to push. Also doing a bunch of reps has just as much to do with muscle fatigue as it does with strength, I remember watching an interview with a bodybuilder and he couldn't do 40 pushups but the dude looked like he could push a mac truck around. Something else to take into consideration is olineman have a ton of problem with their shoulder's making bench harder. I had a buddy who played at ASU and he had 7 surgeries on his shoulders in 4 years to try and make it so his shoulder would stop popping out, do to years of smashing into other big guys 6 days a week since he was in 7th grade.

Good points. Still though, very impressive number for Chung.

Why doesn't the NFL list everyone's Combine results instead of just the top performers? LAME NFL, LAME!

This link thanks to MFRDuckFan!

Chung ran a 4.51 40.

Johnson ran a 4.61 (Disappointing)

Byrd did not participate (Disappointing)

J.Will ran a 4.64 (Disappointing)

I heard the zero RB's ran in the 4.4 range. Is it me or is that kind of weird.

Most of the RB's were slow this year, so JJ might not get knocked down as far as I thought

Chung is listed at a 4.47 40, it may be unofficial though.
