You don't think 11-1 and/or 10-2 would land us in a BCS Game?
2012 Rose Bowl Champions
2013 Fiesta Bowl Champions

I voted for 12-1 because, like someone else mentioned, 11-2 wasn't an option!

I do feel this is our year for the PAC10 title but I really want to match up with an SEC team and that would take an NC run but I will take what we get... As far as playing in the rose bowl I feel real confident we would beat any BIG10, BIG12 teams for sure, I just want to put the SEC in its place...badly! And a national championship I do not think is in reach this year because we lack a serious title contending defense and we will have a slip up or two...

NCDuck09, I completely agree with you. Oregon has the players, the coaches, and the schedule to be at least Pac10 champs but possibly more. The talent does not seem to end. The only weak spot is the D line and it is not that weak. I predict great things that this program has not seen in a long time. I do think that we get one loss but it is not USC. I want USC to lose in the state of Oregon for the 4th season in a row.

With the quality of this class, I may have to review my vote... Higher.

The potential of this offense if these WR recruits pan out, is unlimited, IMO.
Autzen Stadium... Where great teams go to die...Hard!

I say 11-2. Lose to BSU, lose to USC, win our bowl game.

I think USC experiences a couple of growing pains next year. One of those pains will be from us. Hopefully the other from our close friends up north. How can any of you predict a loss to BSU this year? Did you see them play last year? They could not stop the run at all if a team could pass with any sort of legitimacy. They will pull out trick plays and score some points, but they will not beat us. This will be sweet revenge.
Our biggest threats will probably come from Cal and Stanford (obviously USC, but see earlier note). Cal seems to always play way up in our games. Stanford is playing with a lot of fire. They will go bowling next year, hopefully not at our expense though.

I voted 13-0. That is how I view every season opening. That is the goal and it is achievable. You've got to believe it to see it.

I think we beat SC and lose to Cal (again), go 12-1 and hammer tOSU in the Rose Bowl.

Why the hell can't we beat Cal?

i went for undefeated....masoli is the key....the way he ended up the season i think he carries that over to next year. i mean look when we had dixon...we were unstoppable. i see the same thing happening in 09.
"Jeremiah Masoli took home the game's offensive most outstanding player award and then broke into song. Kidding."

I say we finish 11-2, are Pac-10 Co-Champs with USC, but we go to the Rose Bowl because of our win over the Trojans at Autzen. USC faces Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl (Texas to the NC).

I think we'll beat Boise State, Utah, etc, but away games at Stanford, UCLA and Arizona are a concern. These three are all on the rise so we'd better be at our best.

Then again, optimism is a powerful force, and the best question to ask is........ WHY NOT CRUSH EVERYBODY and go huge????

It is NOT out of the realm of possibility, but certainly vegas gives the ducks a good price on pre-season national champions...
