Re: Oregon vs Auburn National Championship Thread
The players gear is generally not available to the public as it is almost always a special design for the team, same with a lot of the shoes they get. I've got a few jackets and nike sb's from Cam that I haven't seen anybody else but players wear. You might try the Beaverton Employee store (if you have access) and see if they have any of those items there since that would be the only other place I can think of that might have it. My favorite piece that I got are the ankle braces that have the O on them. They're the best ankle brace out there and I've had quite a few friends "borrow" them only to never see them again05duck wrote:Now where can I score one of the Warm-up jackets the Ducks had on today? The black and white "jordan" nike jackets are sweet!!!!

I sat next to Brandon Hanna on the airport shuttle in Portland last year the day after the Rose Bowl... he had on some gear that was specially made for the team... I asked him about it and he confirmed that it was team only gear... too bad, IIRC it was pretty sweet...Duck07 wrote:The players gear is generally not available to the public as it is almost always a special design for the team, same with a lot of the shoes they get. I've been in the Phoenix area since Friday and took a few pictures at the Fiesta Bowl Museum today. It's hard to see, but in the first picture you can see where it says LaMichael James right behind the Doak Walker trophy.
I don't have a ticket to the game, but I do have a parking pass to tailgate. I'll be taking lots of pictures to share if you guys are interested.

Regardless of my previous post about not wanting him as our QB, he sounded much more put together in this interview....

This has been the longest month if my life but it's getting close now. As I post this, I'm on the plane to Phoenix! The plane is packed with duck fans.

Re: Oregon vs Auburn National Championship Thread
Why is Chizik making such a big deal of talking with the refs before the game to ensure they enforce the rule that Auburn gets to substitute when Oregon is on offense and we are substituting? The GameDay crew made mention of it and media day reporters brought it up to Chip as well. Chip made it very clear that he is fully aware of the rules and the Ducks don't substitute anyway. Makes me wonder if anybody has watched film on the Ducks at all. Shouldn't they know that?
