Game reminds me of the rose bowl kinda, a few plays here and there and a different outcome. Great season for the ducks anyways, looking foward to next season already.

Tough way to lose a national championship. Auburn is a great team. Cam wasn't unstoppable, but he managed the game. Congrats to Auburn.

Going to be fun listening to the analyst saying how dominate Auburn was and how overrated we were.

What you mad at me for?
Remember, remember, the Fifth of November, the Gunpowder Treason and Plot. I know of no reason why the Gunpowder Treason should ever be forgot... But what of the man? I know his name was Guy Fawkes and I know, in 1605, he attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament. But who was he really? What was he like? We are told to remember the idea, not the man, because a man can fail. He can be caught, he can be killed and forgotten, but 400 years later, an idea can still change the world. I've witnessed first hand the power of ideas. I've seen people kill in the name of them, and die defending them. But you cannot kiss an idea; cannot touch it, or hold it. Ideas do not bleed, they do not feel pain, they do not love... And it is not an idea that I miss //////// Follow me one Tumblr/blog http://f***-kp.tumblr.com/

Congratulations to Auburn, they deserve the victory, they simply outplayed us. Oregon could have won that, but we did not capitalize when needed. So be it. At least the defense made a game out of it and it was an exciting, although disappointing, finish. Next year, let's return!

This was one of the best reffed games I'd ever seen

the only time I saw a ref do something wrong was when he screened an Auburn LB from getting a tackle

Losing back to back BCS bowls really hurts. I don't think anything could be more crushing. :( Yes it was a heck of a season, but to come up just short yet again is devastating.

Well, it wasn't Cam Newton that beat us, we lost to AUBURN so it shows maybe the rest of their players have been undervalued.

How about the Cliff Harris interception that was called an incomplete pass? Look, Im sorry for being emotional. Ive waited 30+ years for this and to see us fall apart really pisses me off,. It was a good game but there should have beeen a few calls gone drasticlly diferent.

I agree. Losing sucks, but we definitely had our chances. Thomas was out of sync on several throws, but made some other great ones. I do question the 4th down call where Barner got stuffed. I didn't question going for it, but why run right at the strength of their defense?

Oh well, no use crying about spilled milk.

Congrats to all the Auburn fans. Enjoy your championship. You guys won a hard fought game fair and square. I still think Fairley is as dirty as they come, but we won't be playing him again, so it's now a moot point.

I have a feeling that our Ducks will be back again in a couple years. :D

In addition to the poor running game, I think the inability to score touchdowns like 3 times on Auburn's 5 yard line lost us this game. Credit Auburn, but those needed to be converted. Also, you absolutely cannot have a safety on that play with 3:30 left in the second quarter. Oregon had all the momentum after the 4th down stop and gave it right back to Auburn.

It was the right call, unfortunately. The rule is that you have to control the ball all the way through the play even after you hit the ground. Cliff bobbled it after he hit the ground. If he could have pulled it tight against his body they would have reversed the call, but he couldn't. He almost made a great play, but just couldn't quite follow through.

I understand your pain and frustration. All of us love our Ducks. I'll be 48 in a couple months and that means that I've been following them for 40 years now myself, so don't feel alone.

I honestly believe that the best thing we can do right now though is to be humble and give Auburn credit. There'll be more great years from the Oregon Ducks for us to enjoy.

As difficult as it is, I'm going to try and remain classy. Our team represented us well on the field and we should do no less off the field.

Thanks for a great season Ducks! I'm looking forward to next year.
