One of the more entertaining national title games in a while. Probably the last good was the 2006 game with Texas and USC. Again the Pac-10 comes up short against the team with a mobile QB.monster wrote:yep, your guys played like professionals

Am I the only that thinks Barner would've had a td on that fourth down run if he would've just kept running to the outside of the endzone? I'm suprised I haven't seen anybody mentioned this unless I missed it. I was yelling about that play for 5 to 10 minutes.

DT shoulda kept the ball a couple times. Shoulda coulda woulda...Auburn played a good game and Oregons D played a good game. The coaches, special teams and offense not so much. When you get into a position like this....you have to take advantage of it. CKs teams have not done so the last two years.

Congratulations ducks for a great game. Your team was, by far, the best we've faced this season. Good luck (tho you hardly need any) dominating the PAC12 next season. You guys will be back in the NCG soon.

Today hurts!! Trying to stay positive, we had one hell of a year.
We had plenty of chances last night, but we came up short. Overall we have a young team with a good core coming back. We do lose a couple key players, but looking forward.....I dont see a return to the title game next year...but I smell roses again!

The way I feel about things, I'd rather just go to the Rose Bowl again if it meant winning the game. Losing the big ones two years in a row hurts..

Yeah, I kept my response short last night because I was extremely intoxicated. You guys played an incredible game and deserve all the praise that you get. As it was said earlier, you were by far the best team we played all season.
I normally don't stick around opponent forums after games because after a loss it tends to be a hostile environment but I really like Oregon as a team and a fan base and I look forward to cheering for the ducks next year. I just hope that the game last night doesnt leave too much of a sour taste in your mouth and that we can get along from now on!

What bothers me is that just like last season, Oregon had over a month to prepare for the defense they would face in the bowl game. The Oregon offense struggled in both games. The Auburn defense wasn't nearly as good during the regular season as it looked last night. This loss is going to hurt for a long time.

To all the Auburn fans we partied with before the game, during the game, and unfortunately after the game. The experience was 100% better, than being around those obnoxious OSU fans at the Rose Bowl. You sat with us, you had nothing but good things to say about our program, and you shared your Southern Whiskey. And to DR. Cindy, we will kick LSU's butt for you guys next year. Just return the favor if you ever get USC again. I'm not going to talk about the game, my therapist advises against it. But I'm proud of our fans, the team, and everyone who made the experience so memorable.JohnnyAuburn wrote:Yeah, I kept my response short last night because I was extremely intoxicated. A couple beaver fans tried talking crap to me today, I just lol'd and walked away. They aren't even worth talking to, Ducks are going to dominate the Pac-12, so from now on, I let our playing do the talking.

What can Beaver fans talk crap about? They had no bowl game, lost the last 3 Civil Wars, and they now have no go-to RB. Stupid Beaver fans.UOducksTK1 wrote:A couple beaver fans tried talking crap to me today, I just lol'd and walked away. What would they say that could be insulting? Hey way to choke in the last few seconds against the best team in the nation on the biggest stage in college football! Geez, you guys couldn't even cover the spread. (It was +3, for a push, so neither did they.)
