He said his visit to LSU in the next couple of weeks will be unofficial and changed his announcement date to March 16 instead of 12. This was on a Kansas TV program 'Outside the Lines'. Saw it on a link from Moseley's blog, comments section of todays post. Still has good things to say about Oregon and keeps in touch with Harper. Good things were said about how Harper was treated by us as well.

Why would he take his visit to LSU as an unofficial? What does it change other than leaving one official left for presumably USC? Does the host school have any limitations on an unofficial that they wouldn't have on an official? Or is it pretty much the same red carpet treatment?

You have to like our chances when comparing OC's. I can't think of one duck fan that would trade Chip for Crowton. I really hope that Bryce's relationship with Chip pays off here.

I would guess he's saving it for a visit to SC, not Miami.
