Like my rambling "we've got to do THIS, then THIS, then THIS...." post in the Arizona thread suggested, this is an absolute must win for us.

I'm intrigued by him starting since this looks like what he'll end up doing at Oregon once Anderson, Boer, and/or Keudell leave.oregontrack wrote:Porter Clayton on the bump today

Agreed. I don't tend to read the RG so I'm often late to the punch on news, is Jones struggling with his back this week or did Horton just decide to go with Clayton?

Re: Portland @ Oregon (1 game series)
Jones probably is still dealing with his back again, which is starting to look like something chronic that will keep him from achieving his full potential here. He has the stuff to be a starting pitcher, but not the stamina or health. Putting him in the bullpen may be his best bet at getting a pro career.oregontrack wrote:Agreed. i canceled my video subscription thinking it would go to the end of the month and then stop working, but it stopped working right away. i'm annoyed. i couldnt find anywhere on their site if it would last or not, but i didn't want to risk waiting and then forget either.

Unbelievable and Disappointing!!!!
What a crappy game from our Ducks! It's not like UP is exactly tearing it up. Kraus has two of his three wins this year against us. Sad.

You don't really overlook anyone in baseball. This guy just has our number. He shut us down last year at PK, too, I believe.
Just a bad loss. Oregon has absolutely zero room for error, games like this are devastating.
