Other than Altobelli to short, how does the lineup appear (best guess)?

Got some high-profile pitching coming in - any that will pitch on the weekend?

i went over some 2012 positions last summer, i think most of that is still up to date. porter clayton left, and we talked a bit about that down the thread; i had sam johnson in the mix for some work, but i believe he had surgery on his shoulder (elbow?) and will redshirt.

Bummer about Sam - I was REALLY looking forward to what he could on this level - my guess is, 'pretty darn good.'

Understand about the form chart from last year, but don't ya think any newbs might find it interesting/informative, giving them a leg up for the coming season - or maybe provide a link for the inquisitive.

Maybe even post a roster on a separate thread on this forum/subforum that we could go to on occasion to refresh our memories before we post.

I DO know this - come hell or high water, I'm gonna make my first official, ticket-buying trip to PK Park - and the plan is to be able to take in a home game every series. I believe the right field foul line area would serve me nicely. lol

RG had a tiny baseball preview article. not much to it, but horton talked about how losing anderson and boer would hurt, but that bringing back kuedell and jones will help. specifically mentioned freshman jake reed as being very impressive in fall/spring practices. could be a sunday candidate. mentioned again how injuries to sam johnson and cole wiper will hurt, both are lost for the season. talked a bit about how hambright and aaron jones will split time behind the plate.

Plus, Porter Clayton went on his Mormon mission, which takes out another player that could have contended for a starting spot. Pitching isn't as deep as it was the last couple years so the bats are going to have to carry this team through big parts of the season.
