Pitching outstanding again, but yes nice to see the offense come alive against an elite team.

Might try to make the game on Saturday.
“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”

As crazy as this sounds, the fact that we bunt a lot really helps this team avoid disappointing innings. It is hard to bunt into an inning ending double play, so even if the bunt is marginal, most of the time it only results in 1 out.

Not so loco, Vato. The flip side of your small-ball scenario is, of course, those teams that score runs in bunches also hit into more DPs.OregonVato wrote:As crazy as this sounds, the fact that we bunt a lot really helps this team avoid disappointing innings. Hofman hits 2-run HR, 8-1 top of the 6th. Vander Tuig finally gets the hook. Surprised they left him in so long.
