Cliff Harris Update

From the looks of it, UO recruit Cliff Harris is now only being detained on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a public officer; the Web site for the Fresno Sheriff no longer lists him as charged with a felony count of threatening a public official. I’m about to leave the office for the day, but you can monitor his status by going to the Web site, clicking “Inmate Info” and entering Harris’ name.

if you look on the sheriffs website it says Bailout with a Y under it so to me looks like he atleast got out.

If it is a misdemeanor charge, there is probably no legitimate reason he should not arrive in time to start fall drills, assuming CK is willing.

The first "officer" that instigated this whole thing sounds like he might be a rent-a-cop. If that's the case, it's easy to see how it got out of hand.

There's nothing we need to worry about. They're not going to keep a kid from going to college on a misdemeanor.

Hopefully Cliff is taking care of business academically. Anyone have any inside information on the progress he is or isn't making on that front?

Hopefully this kid will get his grades in order and arrive in Eugene on time. And get out of Fresno. On the whole hat deal....obviously it has been a rule for quite a while...so for his brother to wear a hat of said color...the kid knew what he was doing. JMO

I have no doubt the kid knew what he was doing. It is why said before that put himself in a bad situation. Poor decision making. Hopefully he is not one of these kids that makes poor decisions off the field and think just becaus is an athlete he can get away with it. I am not saying is but seems has made some questinable decisions and hope its more just because of immaturity and not because trying to get away with things cuase is an athlete.
