According to the CBO, GDP is supposed to swing back starting in 2010. I'm trying to believe... still waiting for this hope that was voted for to kick in.

I then had to remind him that every time he buys a beaver shirt with the nike logo (they are a nike school) that they are supporting the ducks...I said thank you!
Not to mention that Phil is paying for a big chunk of Pat Casey's salary... The absurdity of osu fan will never cease to amaze me...

The mere mention of anything politically related means it "turned political"? People make semi-related comments in passing all the time without "turning" the thread into anything.

I'm thinking that the below quote was taking it a bit too far ... maybe it's just me, but that wasn't exactly a "mere mention". The quote is politically driven and makes the poster's views quite obvious. This is a football board, and I couldn't care less about people's political views and would rather not see them being expressed on here.

I don't know. Badgering people is one thing. But, this, I don't see as being any different than people making the regular off-topic notes and comments that they do on every public community forum or in regular conversation.

I come across people discussing things I'm not interested in all the time. Can't say that I've ever held it against them that they were interested.

Well, I don't know about you wheaton4prez, but I'd rather not have a board full of dangerous rotten extremists!

You're right, I am sorry I even mentioned it. nogerO is a fine contributor to this board. No harm done.

Thank you dude. Myself and my 8 grandchildren all had a good laugh at your predictable knee jerk, reactionary, spittle-projecting retort!

Back to the subject at hand. I find it hilarious that all those flat-tailed, buck-toothed halloween high fans who bitch about there being more Duck stuff in stores, and more inches in the Boregonia devoted to the O than osewe then proceed to go out and by stuff with the swoosh on it and help support Nike. Their fan base continually makes me laugh out loud. Hell I even ran into a pair of OSewe faithful running a Bar in Colorado. We had a good 2 hr. give and take about being "little brother" LMAO.

P.S. Thanks Echo.

D-U-N done.

I went to Joe's the other day to see if I could get some Ducks merchandise on super sale since they are going out of business and they had absolutely no Ducks jerseys and very little Ducks stuff in general, but there were A LOT of Beavers jerseys and A TON of merchandise in black and orange. It made me laugh.

Boycot 'em, I say!

They should have pulled all that Oregon stuff early, so there wouldn't be such unfair competition for the Beavis' $$$!
