Carolina has a lot of backs on their roster, but I do think Barner has a chance to make the roster. DeAngelo Williams has been inconsistent due to injuries, and unfortunately the same can be said about J-Stew. Tolbert is also there and is an underrated 3rd down back that can play full-back. If Barner proves that he is a good blocker in passing situations, then he will definitely have value as a 3rd down back. We know that Barner is a terrific receiver, and that is definitely an asset.
