Oh God, this is getting out of hand.

He probably would rather be a quarterback on the bench, than a receiver on the field.

Ugghhh, why now? Why after spring practice? It's not even the end of the term...

Edit: Seriously, what is Kelly saying to these guys to get them to transfer/not saying to keep them?

Chris Harper? You've got to be kidding me. WTF is going on here? The coaches should have just stayed in place if that's what is causing all this.

And I'm sorry, but I thought Harper had heisman potential, even if it wasn't at quarterback. What a baby. The losses get worse every day.

Also, so much for making him a running back. This one really hurts. We are losing key players at key positions. If we have injuries like we have had in the past, it's going to be a long season.

Bummer man.

Really though, it sucks but we are going through a coaching change, and these things happen. There are many plausible and reasonable reasons for all three of the transfers.

I disagree. You don't lose all the key players Oregon has lost unless their is turmoil with the program. Oregon is coming off of a great season, and it's not like Kelly was a bad move. Harper looked awful when he was at qb, so it's his loss.

Turmoil within the program, you need to get a grip...

1. Pflugrad - dad got fired, gee what a surprise he wanted to transfer
2. Roper - Backup QB at best here, wants to play somewhere his last 2 years, gee shocker
3. Harper - Has said he wants to play QB, has stated he is homesick, his brother told all of us they would go through Spring Ball and see what happens after that, not like this hasn't been discussed since the turn of the year.

Originally, his brother was supposed to come to Oregon to attend the UofO with Chris... He ended up in JC in Kansas.

So they can go to weaker programs? I don't buy it. No way people would have expected all 3 of these guys to leave the program. It would be one thing if they were way down on the depth chart, but they weren't.
