"Nothing from South Central LA in the way of an explanation these days. Nada. Zip. And the local media isn't even following up these days. They're like trained seals it seems at times. (I'm sure I'll be asked to remove that one. But are they journalists there? Just wondering.) Finally, something in the LA Times about it all."
"Did Tim Floyd pay cash for O.J. Mayo? Louis Johnson says so. He also said $200,000 went to Guillory and some of it went to Mayo earlier. He's told the story to the IRS, the FBI and the U.S. Attorney's office. Obviously, you'd better not lie to those people."
"On other issues. Does a Heisman Trophy winning quarterback's dad really have to be told he can't pay a player's rent? At USC, apparently so."
"I'd like to make one other point before I'm told to shut up by someone who doesn't like the topic."
"On the other hand, keeping Snoop Dogg off your sidelines and out of practice might send a better message about this not being a professional outfit wouldn't it? Maybe. I dunno. I just watch."
LOL... It'd be funny stuff, if it wasn't so blatant.

Re: Rickert's Blog on USC "violation" story...
If this had happened at any other school, they would have had an investigation done and penalties would have been severe. Since it's at the University of Spoiled Children, the NCAA and Pac-10 will turn a blind eye since USC provides a lot of revenue for them.
