I read somewhere that the wings didn't hold up as well, so I don't think they'll return. It is always exciting to start out fresh. New coaches, new unis. I'm sure they'll be kickass.

I'm really excited to see them. I hope they don't do the stupid Boise state thing with a guy running down a field, you couldn't get a good view of the unis. And since it's a press conference, there should be video.

As I am sure a lot of people are, I am hoping in addition to new uniforms the Ducks also feature a throwback uniform for a couple games this season. That would be sweet!
What's funny is that I was in the military back in 99 when we switched from the "traditional" to the new age of Duck unis. Honestly people I was stationed with made way more fun of the GB look a likes then the new ones, most in fact loved our new gear. Of course I was 20 at the time, as where most of my friends so that could be why we love the new stuff so much. I would be ok for a throwback game, but please never bring that look back on a regular basis.

I'm ready for these. I think it's sort of cool how certain uniform types now correspond with certain players. Like Joey in the highlighters, the diamond plate always makes me look for JStew.
I liked the armor plating but I think the time is right for a change. I LOVED the wings & I hope they do something similar. Good thing about was they were flashy but still quite simple. As long as camo isn't incorporated I'll love 'em....though I'd probably come to love camo too .
The five players who will be modeling the new kits during the formal unveiling were impressed, with Ed Dickson proclaiming his favorite within five seconds of entering the room. Incredibly, that version had a No. 83 and "DICKSON" attached to it.
My take on the new duds, as a 30-something male sports fan: Outstanding. Cool enough for the kids and classy enough for the traditionalists.
Fans will have the opportunity to see the uniforms as they are introduced for the first time LIVE on GoDucks.com. Video streaming will begin at 1 p.m. with a full archived version available shortly after the completion of the press conference.
