Rivals.com Not Giving Pac-10 Much Respect In Preseason

I've been following this since the beginning and so far they've got six Pac-10 teams ranked at 45 (Arizona State) or below: Stanford, Washington, WSU, Arizona and UCLA.

Personally, I think ASU, UCLA and Stanford will all be improved and all three may be bowl eligible this year.

I get so sick and tired of our conference getting dissed. I know that USC and Cal will be ranked high, but I'm curious where they'll rank the Ducks and Beavers. Will they give Oregon the preseason love that most magazines are giving them or will they go Phil Steele on us?

They'll reveal their #1 team on August 13th.

I think when figure that are around 116 Divison 1 schools that 45th and below is suitable. I am not saying that Stanford UCLA and even possibly Oregon State will not make bowl games.. I just think 45th is about right. Stanford pretty much mark my words.. will cost somebody the Pac10 championship. I am not sure who but they will make somebody stumble. I just hope it iis not Oregon. I had this conversation with another Duck fan... I think USC will be the top team in pac10 until somebody knocks them off. Hopefully Oregon.

And interestingly enough, it's Stanford who has a bye the week before they play Oregon. I know how well Kelly can prepare a team if given two weeks. We'll see how good Harbaugh is with the same amount of time.

Isn't rivals the one run by Alabama fans? Or is that Scout?

we almost lost to them last year in Autzen, so this year may not be as easy as some people seem to be assuming
