Re: Wheaton
Pretty sure CK is paying him a visit this week, he just got done with UCLA which could be dangerous.
With Gaines on board, I'm beginning to think we are getting pretty full at WR.
But I doubt we turn down Wheaton or Johnson if they choose us, definitely doubt we turn down Hall if he wants in. I doubt we get all three, but at least one or two should be realistic.

Re: Wheaton
Assuming all these commits sign on, it appears that rather than a position of concern, WR may be one of Oregon's positions of luxury, for a change.

Re: Wheaton
I think it's a bit premature to say Gaines is on board. Yes there are a few rumors that we lead big, but none that are decent saying he's already committed. There's even a story out that he's taking another trip, but that one is iffy.

Re: Wheaton
I agree with macduck while we should feel pretty good we won't really know who we have until everyone is signed sealed and delivered!

We will see about that, until he has signed his LOI anything could happen.

Re: Wheaton
I would like to see Wheaton, Jackson, and Johnson all become Ducks as well as Hall (least probable though)

Re: Wheaton
Wheaton, Johnson, Jackson, & Hall would be amazing! I think we get the first 3 which isn't too bad, IMO. We are looking amazing at WR for the next 4-5 years....come to think of it we are looking amazing at all positions on offense. Lloaded with young talent at o-line, same with WR/TE, if we add BB & Boyd the same can be said about the RB & QB positions.

Well said and I second the motion. I have a feeling that if this Wheaton comes to Oregon, he is going to be scoring a lot more that the other one did.addictedtoquack wrote:Dude there is always room at Oregon for anyone with the last name Wheaton
