I think it would be cool to see Joey Harrington since it seems his NFL career may be over. He would bring a lot of energy and could be a big motivator to the players just like he was during his days as the Ducks QB and maybe he could stay on and eventually succeed Chip!!

Since it is slow I thought I would see who people would like to see as the new Graduate Assistant.

That would be pretty cool. Kellen Clemens would also do a pretty good job.

Last season. And probly not, but you still get paid much much much better as an NFL backup than an Oregon GA.gregspechtismyhero wrote:idk, you think he'll win the job over Sanchez? when was the last time he played? hahaTray Dub wrote:Clemens still has a lot of playing days left in him.AJ_U wrote:That would be pretty cool. I think being a career NFL backup would be better than being a GA. A GA has to go to school and finish up a degree all while having to coach for little or no pay.

If you guys really think he will lose the starting spot to Sanchez, your sadly and horrifically misguided. Kellen is a major stud at QB in a pro system that has a line and a running game. Sanchez is the flashy kid. Experience will destroy flashy everytime. Just ask Jeff Garcia. If Kellen is not the starter for the first Jets game this year, I will buy everyone a beer that will travel up to Tualatin. Take that to the bank.

I hope you're right, but he didn't actually thrive when given the opportunity.TualatinDuck wrote:If you guys really think he will lose the starting spot to Sanchez, your sadly and horrifically misguided. Akili Smith. He's coaching for free down in San Diego already and he would have been amazing in a Chip Kelly run offense.

I do not know how good they would be but think if they be interested and since grew up in Junction City and their father is in the HOF how about Josh or Justin Wilcox? I notice everyboddy has gone with a qb and am not saying thats wrong just throwing 2 names out that would be kind of cool. I think one of them already doing something at Boise State if am not mistaken.

Josh, as a GA, may be a viable option... It's hard to see Justin taking a step down, just to get his foot in the door at Oregon.

Yeah after had typed it got to thinking that one of them is at Boise State. It must be Justin. Thanks for clearing that part of it up. I am not saying the ones already mentioned would not be nice. Just adding a couple more.
