Rule decision (please vote)
For teams who don't land a player to MLE in offseason free agency, we allow these teams the ability to pick a player and give him an MLE contract.
Should we only allow them to do this prior to the first sim, or should this option be allowed the entire season?

I say entire season or a deadline would be fine too like FL said. I don't see it any different than using Vet FAs to balance out contracts.

I agree with this. Either the whole season to decide or a set deadline like All Star Gametales wrote:I say entire season or a deadline would be fine too like FL said. I don't see it any different than using Vet FAs to balance out contracts.

If you didn't use your MLE during the off season and are eligible (less than 4.5 mil in cap space), you sign one in the sign forum.Phenom wrote:How does the inseason MLE work?

This rule isn't meant as value. If you want value, try to use your MLE during the offseason free agency.. But if you want a trade filler, it's nice to have an inseason MLEPhenom wrote:So it's only for current FAs? Meh..
