Pretty slim, but the good finish to the end of the season could help. I'm just not so sure with the pitching injuries.

depending on who you go by, our rpi is about #20. i tend to follow warren nolan, and he has smack dab @ #20.

the bad news is that the pac-12 is kind of weak, so our SOS is in the 70s. the good news is that there's really only two locks to host out west, oregon state and cal poly. washington would host before us, but while they're not necessarily a lock, i think their chances are pretty good. but since there's no one else out west, that leaves oregon. we might get a boost because the committee often tries to spread out the hosts geographically a bit, and not put them all in the south.

the committee has liked oregon a little more than they should in the past. we had an rpi of #11 and were ranked as low as #17 in one poll last year, and they rewarded us with a national seed (for all the good it did). what will really hurt us is a lack of anything remotely resembling a signature win. the biggest feather in our cap is usc (27-23, and quite possibly 27-26 after this weekend as they host an oregon state team still fighting for seeding).
