Looks like Byrd made the right move

Signed for 4.2 million and 2.4 guaranteed (reportedly)... will undergo surgery for sports hernia, looks to out 2-4 weeks. Should definitely see the field next year.

Max Unger signed with the Seahawks too. He got a four year contract that guarantees 1.95 million. I don't know if that's the entire amount of the deal or not though, I just read a snippet in this morning's paper.

I think I remember Houston saying they really wanted to draft him but didn't have enough draft picks and hoped he would fall to them as a free agent. I bet he makes the team as a complement to Steve Slaton.
