BSU Starting O-lineman
Out for the season. Also, our favorite safety got a little banged up today; he'll be questionable for the Duck game.

He probably started having anxiety attacks after watching game film from the OkSt game.bornaduck wrote:Also, our favorite safety got a little banged up today; he'll be questionable for the Duck game.

Bet he saw how Masoli and Blount put defenders to shame and suddenly tried to switch positions.

You're going to have to trust me on this one. He's an interior lineman. Not sure when they will officially announce the info, but you heard it here firstTinfoilman wrote:Do you have a name of the O-lineman? Returning starter...new starter? center or guard?
If this is indeed true, I have a good feeling about the performance of the D-line come Sept. 3rd....would have regardless with the praise being dropped on the D-line and the addition of coach Azz but minus a big ugly in the middle...look out!
Kellen Moore might be on the turf a few times...

Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

No problem guys. I'm usually just a reader (ever since the first chat4quacks), but I got this info and thought I would share. This is the best free Duck site on the web, so I decided to help the cause.VinnyKnuckles wrote:Thanks for the inside scoop bornaduck.

AJ_U....please no bulletin board material. This is going to be a tough game and has been said on this board on many occasions we want to play our opponents at full strength to fully appreciate a win.

Hmm could be to our advantage, although I want Boise State at full health.
For the ducks, there's no excuses this year. We should be prepared to lose 4 QBs in a game. Have Ed Dickson start taking some snaps haha.

Re: BSU Starting O-lineman
Not trying to be a dissenting voice, but I'd be surprised if this is the case as it's reported that he "jogged off the field" after his "injury".bornaduck wrote:Out for the season. Also, our favorite safety got a little banged up today; he'll be questionable for the Duck game.
And I hope you're right about the OL being out for the season. Sure, it'd be great to beat them full strength, but a Win is a Win is a Win. Personally, I don't care if they have to suit their equipment manager up and send him/her out under center.
I just want a win. In fact, think of how much it would sting the bsu fans if they lost as a direct result of Kellen or one of their skill players not being on the field. But wait, there's no way that'd matter as the loss of QB in no way impacts the outcome of the game(at least according to them).
I expect a LOT of chess moves, false injury reports, non-reported injuries, etc. to take place over the next 20 days.
Anyone want to take me to the game? I'll buy the gas and "sodas".
