Re: AP Poll
In my opinion, even more of a joke than the other poll. Fun to look at, but pretty meaningless.

Re: AP Poll
Again: California did not finish the season ranked in the AP top 25 last year. This season they replace a veteran QB and all three of the linebackers that made up their strong 4-3 defense (and there's just no replacing Follett; by the way Zack, enjoy Detroit). They also have a question mark at center, having lost Alex Mack.
But hey, why let reality bother the equation. Number 12 is totally justified because, well, Jahvid Beast!

Re: AP Poll
Apparently Oregon would get sixth place in the SEC and Cal would get fifth. Doesn't matter that Georgia lost their star RB and QB early to the NFL. Or that LSU couldn't crack the top 25 at the end of last year, because they had a good bowl game so they must be top ten this year. I mean, how couldn't they be. They replaced the terrible DC who wasted all that speed and talent to produce a mediocre defense. Now the new guy will obviously utilize all that speed and talent to make this a top ten team. It's basically happened already, no need to make them prove it or anything. Hell, let's just pencil them in to a BCS bowl right now.
Wait that won't work, too many other great SEC teams. Maybe we could have two National Championship games and have Florida vs. Mississippi and LSU vs. Alabama. Then Georgia could just be a co-NC.

Polls are a joke, but I love the fact we play 7 teams on this poll. (Perhaps even 8 when you throw in the bowl game)
