i mean, anything is possible I guess, but that is one pessimistic outlook. our rotation should be incredible next year.

I guess that is possible, but unless Irvin and company have an incredible improvement and Krook by some miracle gets back to his pre surgery days, I don't see it happening.
The rotation we had a when Irvin was a freshman was incredible but couldn't get the job done either. Because of the hitting issues we have had every single year, we need not just an incredible hitting rotation, we need an untouchable one to get to Omaha, maybe even just to supers. 2012 team was as close to good as we can get but we had a great recruiting class to get that far (and Keudell becoming the best pitcher in Oregon history).

It's now round 31 and Oregon hasn't had another HS recruit drafted. For a class ranked in the top 15 in the nation, there sure aren't a lot of players that were worthy of being drafted. Makes me wonder how bad Horton and Co. struck out with recruits this season.

3 more Duck recruits taken: Parker Kelly in the 34th round to St. Louis (his brother Carson was drafted by them also), Colton Sakomoto in the 37th round to Seattle (his dad is a scout for the Mariners so it could him showing up could be a toss-up), and Matt Kroon in the 38th round to Cincinatti.

Cody Deason, Parker Kelly, and Matt Kroon were really the only other ones I thought would have a shot at getting drafted. But they'll all be coming to school, which is great for us.

I always think HS guys are making the wrong decision if they turn pro after being drafted lower than the 25th round since there's so much room for them to improve in college. Nice to see Kelly and Sakamoto are coming in and honoring their commitments to Oregon.
