UO/Purdue and Tenn/UCLA lines seem silly to me.
IMO UO and Tenn should be multiple TD favorites...

I'd put a lot of money on the Stanford side of the Wake/Stanford spread. I think they'll win and it will be by more than a score.

I would put money on wassu, but i think that would be a little too risky even if i think they are capable of winning by multiple touchdowns.

Why? Vegas isn't trying to "predict" who is going to win and by how much. They just want a line that is going to see equal money bet on both sides. And by your comments it seems that they have done their job.UOducksTK1 wrote:UO/Purdue and Tenn/UCLA lines seem silly to me.

I guess, but I see Tennessee demolishing UCLA, and I'm pretty sure most college football fans would agree.Duckxing wrote:Why? Vegas isn't trying to "predict" who is going to win and by how much. Stanford plays that game at 9:00 in the morning our time. Hopefully they won't pull a Cal. That is probably the biggest reason for the odds. Another being that everyone on the east coast knows WF a lot better and only know Stanfords record from last year. So they will get plenty of bets on the WF side. If it was a Stanford Favorite the east coast would lay too much money on WF and then the bookies wouldn't get their 50/50 split.
UOducksTK1,
I don't see Tennessee demolishing UCLA. Last year they both had anemic offenses. I think UCLA had the better defense. This year who knows but I expect a close game, not a demolition from either team.

Really? Maybe Lane has got me brainwashed like all of his recruits/players...spinseeker wrote:Stanford plays that game at 9:00 in the morning our time. Hopefully they won't pull a Cal. I don't see UCLA scoring much, and I see Tennessee scoring a lot. But I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Re: Vegas Odds, interesting
I called that pretty good, but my heart made all my bets this week apparently. Lost my butt. If I had bet opposites I would have won a lot. Went 1-7 on a Parlay.
And of course thought the Ducks would really bounce back this week.
At least we got the win.
I'm going back to my usual method of betting against the Ducks, so when I lose my bet I'm still happy because the Ducks win.
