Hopefully UCLA finishes below .500 so Kiffen loses all momentum w/ recruits, kuz you know they're gonna get demoralized by every decent team they play from here on out. They're lucky they scheduled Ohio and Memphis

Re: Tennesee
I loved seeing Tennessee lose, especially since I don't think UCLA is even that good. Bryce Brown had a lovely game. 11 carries for 31 yards!!!!

Hopefully Florida gets rolling and doesn't let off the gas in an attempt to embarrass Lame. I would love to see the Vols go down in flames by 30+.Bigducker wrote:And now Kiffin and his Vols get to go visit Urban Meyer at the Swamp... That should be a fun one for kiffin .

UCLA's QB Prince suffered a broken jaw on the safety, will be out 3-4 weeks;
Sweet win otherwise

Hate to see that happen to anybody but, it might benefit the Ducks, especially if his first game back is against the Duck... Might be a little rustyGreydrake wrote:UCLA's QB Prince suffered a broken jaw on the safety, will be out 3-4 weeks;

Since the Vols neeed a touchdaown to win, that safety probably did more harm than good. Odds are they would have gotten excellent field position if they had forced UCLA to punt.

That's part of the plan, you see. The punter would most likely have run around and taken the safety anyway, just to burn clock.
Then, assuming he didn't fumble and give up a TD, the Bruins would still have gotten the opportunity to free kick the ball, thus burning another 35-40 seconds in an ideal world.
It's called clock management. [I know.. A foreign concept to most newer Duck fans...

The idea is to give your opponent as little time to score as possible.

So in addition to lecturing you've taken the role of condescending pr.ck. That's what I call a dual threat poster.

Re: Tennesee
It was a joke, in case you wondered.
The last three years have seen very few time consuming drives on the part of the Duck offense, as well as some dumb clock management decisions late in close games... The 2007 CW screw-up comes to mind.
How many times in this thread has the same question been asked, about why would the Weasel make such a choice?
It has been answered multiple times as well.
Sorry if that offends you.

Actually I'm pretty sure he was making fun of Oregon's lack of clock management skills in recent years...But hey I could be the dumb one in this conversation and not you, but I doubt it
