Why always Negative?
Why do we always jump on the one negative of each game? The last games were wins & instead of the site being filled with threads on how great the Defense played & how LaJames is a stud, It's "Masoli Sucks". Same thing last week(Hey dckgradd99, where the "Fire Aliotti" thread for this weeks game?). Why are some of you guys even fans? Seriously, whats the point for you to even be a Duck fan? Unless we win every game 100-0, you're miserable. Grow up & Go Ducks.

The D was awesome...Absolutely awesome....Masoli, not so much, but there were a few glimpses of last year..There is hope duck fans...And if we dont excel this year..LOOK OUT NEXT YEAR......
Not bad for pre-conference play against the opponents that we scheduled... 2 and 1 is not too shabby...Now onto Cal.....
GOOOOOO DUCKS

Most of the PAC 10 appears vulnerable this season... The Ducks need to gel quickly in order to take advantage of that situation.
As far as Cal goes, Best did score 5 times, but there was some horrible tackling in that game which allowed him to get into the secondary.

I totally totally agree Dthomas=DDixon. I have been a harsh harsh critic of Allow A lot E but I have to give a huge Thanks to our D this game. They played better than have seen in a very very long time. Big huge kudos to them for pulling it together. I still think it is was just for this game... but it is really nice to see our D play so well after myself being such a harsh critic of them even last week with their inconsistency. Cal will be a very very tough game.

Re: Why always Negative?
This offense is still a work in progress and keeps getting better, though the snaps were a problem today. I honestly think once Masoli gets back on track the team will do very well.
I made a statement on a different thread I seriously doubt the PAC-10 champion runs the board.
With USC has already tripped up, Ducks could still be in it even if they lose to the Bears next weekend; Big question on whether Tedford can keep the Bears focused week to week, and if they can handle the pressure of the weekly bullseye on their back.
Who knows as to next weekend.

It will be interesting to see how the resurgent defense deals with Jahvid Best and the Bear offense.

It'll be even more interesting to see what our fans can find to complian about if we win...

Re: Why always Negative?
Honest answer: The offense is totally unbalanced, and that makes the Ducks a bit boring to watch. Today, we had fewer completions than a Georgia Tech offense and still piled points on the board! If we had a balanced attack this team would be dangerous! But instead, they're predictable and its frustrating. It's always frustrating to think of what could easily be, but isn't.

ANd it will be more interesting to see if you can go a week without complaining about the complainers. Not everyone here shares the same thoughts you do.

I started the topic so not sure what you're trying to say there. But seriously, you wanna just man up & admit you were wrong about the D?duckgrad99 wrote:dthomas=ddixon wrote:Why do we always jump on the one negative of each game? Re: Why always Negative?
I don't see the immaturity of dthomas=ddixons comments. Every week there is something negative for you to focus on instead of just enjoying the victory. Try being a fan and have fun when we win. Get pissed if we lose.duckgrad99 wrote:dthomas=ddixon wrote:Why do we always jump on the one negative of each game? Was I negative this week? Enough said. Try focusing on the win and the game instead of gloating about calling me out.
