Man, it would so nice for USC to lose, but to the Huskies? I still have to go with USC just for that and the Beaver game just so we don't have to hear about it. I would like USC to lose to the Arizonas or Stanford again.

I know USC was over rated and have a number of question marks but Washington is going to be a power in as little as a year or two and Oregon will struggle with them this year and may likely lose. I sure hope Oregon continues and improves with national recruiting because with Stanford, Washington and UCLA's recruiting and coaching the Ducks may no longer be one of the top tier PAC-10 conference teams in the next few years. I am all about competition but all of those schools will have an easier time with recruiting then Oregon so hopefully Oregon can keep up.

Well considering Oregon's recruiting has been very stable, if not better in the last few years, I wouldn't say that. UCLA will always get good recruits, and is starting to get better coaching. Washington is getter better, damnit. And Stanford has had good recruiting classes the last couple of years, but they have yet to show anything, and I think we'll really find out what happens with them this year.

In a normal year, when my Ducks would have a chance at the conference championship, I might be tempted to say USC losing to the Fuskies would be a good thing. Unfortunately, not this year - at least with the way Oregon's been playing so far.

So, I'll just say that the only thing that comes close to being as bad as the Ducks losing is the Fuskies winning. Their incredible front-running, arrogant fans in the 70's and 80's set my hate for that program in stone.
