OL Commits next year

Post by jimmy12 »

If the Ducks lose only Sewell and Patousi, then I am guessing they only take 1 more OL next recruiting class. (4 total)

1. Jackson Light (Committed)
2. JOSH SIMMONS (Committed)
3. LOGAN SAGAPOLU - RECLASSIFIED FROM 2019 CLASS
4.TBD—- likely Kingsley Suamataia

Barring some attrition then i think they’re done at OL.

Just my guess.

They’ll definitely take Bryce Foster if he wants to commit

That's an interesting thought. Definitely makes me wish they hadn't used so many schollys on lower-rated OL this year (of course they could always turn out to be studs - tbd).

Hopefully they reel in Kingsley.

There is a ton of early interest right now. I think we end up with 5-6 OL, tbh.

Trying to think of who would be candidates for early departures. Sewell will head to the NFL and Poutasi will graduate. Randazzo sticks out, though he got mention as someone who has a bright future by Cristobal. Dawson Jaramillo is kind of at the point of needing to prove something, but I have a tough time imagining him leaving voluntarily. It's not impossible for Steven Jones to play his way into being a pro prospect, though unlikely.

Yea, doesn't seem like a lot of slots unless there are some surprises.

OL always has attrition to some degree.

I don't get too caught up in #'s at a position we're going to take, especially there. If someone is good enough and wants to come here, we'll find a way 98% of the time.

Main things I'm looking for in 2021 recruiting:

1. Defensive tackles
2. Tight Ends
3. A true speedster at WR
