Hasn't the Connerly boat sailed away a long time ago, as many posters said the staff didn't want to rock the boat with Banks? It seems like getting our CFP hopes shattered and embarrassingly demolished by Utah on prime time national TV really hit us in recruiting as well.

Kids aren’t making their decisions based on the result of one game. Same thing would have happened whether they won the Utah game or not. If there are kids that fit some reason we’re impacted by that game, they weren’t seriously interested in the first place.
If they didn’t rock the boat for Connerly and we get Banks robbed that’s obviously less than ideal.
Not hitting on the elite OL we get anyway, but I’d have loved to have been able to close on someone like Bryce Foster last year. He’s started every game at center for aTm.

Conerly said two days ago that he was going to be down for the Civil War. That change in the 24 hours after?

Not sure if you’re trying to indicate that’s what I’m saying above, because that’s clearly not the case. My point is if the Utah game impacted a recruit’s decision, they weren’t that interested in Oregon in the first place, so they were not an actual option in the first place.

He was at the Crapple Cup yesterday.
247’s report was wrong, Wiltfong or Huffman or whichever national guy wrote that are usually the best bet. Conerly was there for the game, had to track down his dad’s Instagram. Dad likes the Jordan PEs.
Jahlil and Clemons will now visit USC if they reach out to them. Really don't want to return to the days of having commits flip to USC near signing day again.

On a positive note, McMillan said he’s locked in to Oregon and not interested in USC. If we do miss on Clemons to USC or somewhere else, do we circle back to Nicholas Anderson, who commuted to Oklahoma?
I didn’t know till I looked on the 247 visit list for Oregon, but Earl Little Jr. visited for the civil war. Some Bama fans on Twitter were saying his spot is going to be taken by Elias ricks. Not sure what are chances are, but he is good.

Weird, maybe I’m mistaking him for someone else. Could have sworn I read an article a few weeks ago where Little stated Oregon was too far away and he wanted to stay closer to home.
