Wiltfong just CB’d him to Oregon too. I don’t LOVE Matayo U but this is still an awesome close to the class. Huge recruiting win.

Is Matayo and DJU a package deal? If so would DJU be willing to sit a year to compete for the starting job next year? Regardless between the two I’d definitely choose Matayo, fills a much bigger need.

I would assume ANY skill player worth his salt would come in intending to compete, period.

Riley's team doesn't play d or develop players on that side of the ball...I think Ohio State is the biggest threat.

Still think it's going to come down to whomever gave him the best pitch for his development and NIL deal.

I want to see him be a Duck, I'm just not entirely sure what position he plays for us. He looks like he's awfully big to be a standup Front 7 player for his speed and I think long-term he's going to be someone who has his hand in the ground.

It's a longshot, but I'm hoping Green and Matayo become the latest version of Armstead and Buckner.

Properly coached and developed they could be.

Long-term I think its an ideal fit for him but he's young and could put on 15 pounds in 9 months like its nothing too.
