There's always one BIG wild drama in recruiting and this year we got it. Unfortunately doesn't look like it will end up in our favor and best of luck to Peyton Bowen.

Word is Bowen flipping to Oklahoma, which makes no sense, as apparently he and his parents decided to narrow the decision down to Oregon and ND the night before. How Oklahoma suddenly got back in the picture is weird. Alas, still a great NSD, but a bit of a bummer end to the early period. I would suspect that Bowen switching pretty much eliminates Hicks and there’s a good chance Hicks is going to Oklahoma as well.

Haven't watched Oklahoma this year, but just from looking at their games on paper it doesn't feel like they are that great. Does Brett have the makings of a Championship coach and culture or will they still have a ceiling of being a top 4-5 team in the nation once every 3-4 years and never win a Championship. I'm confused where you get this assessment. Besides this year they are very regularly in the national championship talks. They may not make the playoffs every year, but they are consistently on the brink. They are a far from middling program on any year except this year
