I find it strange that Oregon and other West Coast schools haven't really been connected at all to Mater Dei 4* QB Elijah Brown. His recruitment has been extremely quiet, which is rare for a QB like him.

Saw an article today that he is focused on ASU, USC, UCLA and Stanford. I’m curious if Oregon tried hard for him or not.greenyellow wrote:I find it strange that Oregon and other West Coast schools haven't really been connected at all to Mater Dei 4* QB Elijah Brown. For some reason, seeing Stanford high on his list gives me the thought he may be acade.ically out of reach...

He's now committing on 5/20, as is 4* 2024 DL Xadavien Sims. Next weekend may be busy.

It's interesting to watch highlights that aren't very good. Go to 3:50 to watch his 7 on 7 highlights.

Why? Go get zero NIL, play on a losing team with a unproven coach. Doesn’t sound like a great plan.

Education can be a big draw to some kids, especially if parents are involved.buckmarkduck wrote:woundedknees wrote:For some reason, seeing Stanford high on his list gives me the thought he may be acade.ically out of reach...
