It's pretty obvious that the ref's are out to get us for the 12 man on the field rule last week.

You want to interpret the rule book literally? we will too...
like wtf was that too many men in the backfield call.

I will say, I am glad we tried the field goal in this situation. Lanning will remember this and not trust him in the future.

coaches also need to free Jay Harris. Whittington just doesn't look good at all.

but then again, Jordan James sat on the bench for 2 seasons before finally playing ball this year. :/

Why? There’s no point in in extending the lead by 3 there.

A TD on that drive likely gets the starters out of the game.

there's definitely a point. you make it a 4 score game unless they can hit 3 straight 2 pt conversions.

lol, you act like a 51 yard field goal should be automatic. I’m only ok with it, because I feel like it was just about getting Boyle reps from distance. Ordinarily I think they go for it, but they feel comfortable with the lead.

That was the entire point. Can he make this kick with zero pressure to win the game. The answer is, no, he can't. That was why Lanning did it.

Ridiculous that Coach Lanning has to burn a challenge just to get a review.

Edit: Ducks get the ball in the same spot anyway.

He had plenty of distance and hooked a field goal slightly. That doesn’t mean he’s not capable of making it. I haven’t lost trust with Boyle because he missed one kick from distance going right to left.

Muhammad might've gotten away with a jersey grab there.

Most of the games sadly. Unable to put the game away in time to get valuable reps for the backups.

It’s weird because we’re obviously good enough. I think tonight has a lot to do with forcing Whittington to get reps, and he just doesn’t have it between the tackles. And our OL doesn’t exactly open up gaping holes.
