Nice, looks like the shutout will be completed. Well done, defense!

How do the Ducks have 2 DB’s with the same number? Dakoda Fields and Kam Alexander are both listed as no. 11.

Man, this just felt easy. Perdue overmatched in nearly all phases.

Yet pitched the first road shutout since 1992. Beat the spread, on a short week, after a long flight, playing a lot of backups in the 4th, with little tape on their OC and QB…I have zero to complain about.

Thought that went about as well as could be expected, definitely exceeded my expectations for this game.

Really liked that they turned it back on in the second half, got some scores, and secured the shutout.

Game is over so I can finally post! Now to go put some ketchup on my steak.

What a dominant performance by the defense! I know the Purdue offense is struggling but great to see the defense, especially the backups, get the job done and shut them out. And a Kam Patterson sighting! Great pick! And dang I can’t figure out why we don’t see Purchase more on 3rd and long situations, he’s fast! It’s impossible to replace Burch but Matayo is making me feel better about life without him next season, he is just so dominant!

Only criticism is Gabriel, not cause he’s not great, but I swear he gets too bored with a lead. Great game overall but the last two drives of the first half he was a little frustrating.

Ferguson had to have his appendix removed this week. Should be back soon, hopefully against Michigan.

Wow we got lucky with the timing on that. A few days earlier and he's not in for Ohio State. Should be fine to rest for the next 15 days, I don't expect much threat from Illinois at home.

I saw that too. I'm no analyst but their 5 man O-Line may have had something to do with it.

They were able to open huge holes on both the left and right sides, but mostly the left.

On the other hand, we were able to get a LOT of pressure on their QB through their line.

I hope the Ducks can find a way to fix those gap issues fast, but I do have to give some credit to Purdue. They were doing some vicious blocking.

I don’t know how a bunch of people can really be disappointed after that game

Road game 2000 miles away
Short week
Down at least three starters
No film on what their offense would do

And we pitch our first shutout in a decade

With the playoffs no need to run up score. Win and rest guys / get our depth snaps and on to UI

Slap in the face to the Ducks. "Low priority games" only get the minimum number of Cameras.

Yeah he was only 21-25 290 yards, 84% completion rate, 11.6 yards per pass, 2 touchdowns, an int that went off Dez's hands, and is back in the Heisman talk. Seriously, some of you need to wait until the second half to post.

The fact that we just beat tOSU makes it pretty hard to get real concerned about anything ha. Purdue had too much success on the ground last night but we just shut down tOSU’s run game 6 days ago. To the point that they completely abandoned it in the 2nd half. Not worried.
