These videos are crazy good from an Oregon perspective, and insanely brutal from an opponent perspective. You think Michigan might make their team watch this video before they play us next time? I know the Ducks are going to have a target on their back either way, but wow.

To paraphrase Coach Bellotti, maybe I dont know enough about football to ask this question but..

Shouldn't the Michigan guy know to never line up directly over the center on a scrimmage kick play? I know Lanning and Co saw something on film and its referenced in Ducks vs Them, but what was it specifically about the formation that caused the Michigan player to screw up his alignment?

That’s a good question, and I probably am not the best person to answer, but I think it’s cause he’s used to lining up in front of someone, usually a guard, but only the C was available to line up in front of, so he naturally lined up in front of the C rather than what felt like no man’s land. I want to see them try this again in a similar situation. 4th and less than five yards in the middle of the field. or maybe they will actually run a fake if the linemen sets up correctly, who knows.
