Senior Day

Post by nogerO »

Just a big shout out to all the great seniors on the team. Enjoy what could be your last game at Autzen (I know, I'm gonna lose my Duck card for that) and the ceremonies on the field before the game. Best of luck. Thank you for everything you've done for the team. ONCE A DUCK, ALWAYS A DUCK!

Probably a few Juniors who will declare will also get recognized like Josh Connerly, Jordan James and Evan Stewart.

Those three, plus Derrick Harmon, I'm wondering if they do declare or not. The three quoted all seem like round 3-7 picks, and Harmon is maybe 2-4.

Yeah, not sure Stewart declares.

Also I don't think they honor the juniors unless they officially declare.

I was at this game last year and it was only those who were officially seniors.

I like following Rob Staton of Seahawks Draft Blog and he's done a good job over the years putting the work in. https://seahawksdraftblog.com/horizontal-board

He's got Connerly as a 1st round Guard and it seems more analysts/scouts are of the mindset that most of these Tackles will kick inside.

James as a 2nd Round RB with Stewart top of the 3rd and Harmon bottom 3rd.

I saw Matt Miller put Harmon is in his Top 20/1st Rd Mock recently and I've seen others who put Stewart in the Top 50 so those 2 will be interesting to watch their decisions.

We have a ton of seniors on the team. I hope the underclassmen will be seasoned sufficiently to play really well next season.

Sadly, most haven’t gotten much time. Since they have “intentionally” slowed down in the 3rd quarter all season the starting senior rotations have played almost all of the snaps, especially in the defensive secondary.
