Plus it seemed like everytime I watched him play this year, he was putting the ball on the ground. DL doesn’t put up with fumbles
Yup. The group of guys we have right now should suffice.

Still think they may go after a RB if James turns pro. I know some of the recruiting insiders said Oregon's staff has been looking at the transfer portal for RBs but which ones they've potentially offered hasn't come out yet.

Have any of these transfer recruits visit and not commit?

Doesn't seem like it, nor does it seem like Bear is leaving without becoming a Duck since he's got to be the only possible DL that Max Torres could be referring to. He's already visited Penn State too and I think if you add him, you've got a nice trio inside with A'mauri Washington, Terrance Green and Bear.

Seen a bunch of Oregon journalists and recruiting trackers retweet this. He's originally from Portland and Oregon could potentially need another TE depending on Saleapaga and Pugliano's injury situations.

My gut reaction is "gross."

Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

Not really worried about him since Lanning and Tosh likely wouldn't have offered him if they didn't think he had the right attitude. If he doesn't work out, they still have a bunch of young guys they can turn to.

I've got to believe that Amauri Washington is replacing Harmon's role next year and that Bear is fighting for the backup reps and Caldwell's spot with Terrance Green.

AW has really flashed at times this year so going into his Junior year, a full-time role is something I'd expect him to earn/flourish with and I think its our other DT spot we're a little reserved about and where Bear can compete with Mean Terrance Green for some of those reps at NT/DT.

To that end, he clearly has a get-off for an interior lineman and I came away from this video from the poodle game 2 years ago that he could probably develop into a dominant Guard on the OL if he were to mentally accept the switch.

Oregon also has Tionne Gray, Xadavien Sims, My'Keil Gardner, Aydin Breland and Jericho Johnson who could all contribute next season.

Na'eem Offord's brother Nakhi Hughes has entered the portal. Averaged 5.3 ypc while racking up over 1400 yards and 15 TDs this year at Tulane.

Hope the coaches go after (and get) him. Dude is a beast.
