Where’s Aydin Breland? I think he’s going to take a big step forward and will play a big role next year.

and Sims, Gray, Gardner are all in the same boat. Those guys along with the young CBs will have a chance to stand out in the spring time.

Jeremiah McClellan should be on the 2-deep at WR as well; I think he earns a starting spot.

Stop giving me hope that Conerly comes back. If he did and Pregnon joined the Ducks, we'd have the best left side in college football. Like my dreams of a national championship, I know getting my hopes up is futile.

NIL makes this stuff more realistic than back when I was hoping Phil would offer Marcus a big shoe deal for staying another year once he made it to the NFL.

I'm also hopeful that perhaps the bad taste of that game has some players galvanized for the year ahead. As far as Josh, he needs to get stronger to play outside against the top edges in the NFL where his best comp for his size profile is the Chargers Rashawn Slater and its possible he could be a Top 10 guy in 2026 along with Matayo by coming back.

Few things missing/needing changed:
-Jeremiah McClellan will be in the 2-deep at WR
-Genorris Wilson likely plays OT next season and Bedford starts at OG
-Soelle was a 6th year SR so should be replaced by Platt, Williams, or Mothudi
-Florence likely starts at one of the CB spots
-Offord is a bit raw so will probably be a backup to begin.
-Aaron Flowers and Ify Odidegwu likely challenge for spots in the 2-deep safeties

I could see Harmon and Stewart potentially declaring for the draft. I've been seeing decent grades for both, depending on where you look.

I did a 2-deep guess before the transfer portal opened, Here's the revised version with transfers in (bold), transfers out (italics), and some shifting positions based on how the depth chart looks now (underline).

One of the biggest things is I think with Pregnon, you don't have an all-star offensive line but you have 7-8 guys you can get comfortable playing. Your tackles are two of World, Harkey, Wilson, and Bedford (Crader and Addison are wildcards as young guys). Your guards are Pregnon and 1 of Iuli, Rogers, Bedford, and Wilson.

(offense showing 12 positions)
QB: Dante Moore, Austin Novosad
RB: Makhi Hughes, Noah Whittington/Jay Harris/Dejaun Riggs/Jayden Limar
LT: Isaiah World,, JacQawn McRoy Fox Crader/Ziyare Addison
LG: Emmanuel Pregnon, Kawika Rogers, Devin Brooks
OC: Poncho Laloulu, Charlie Pickard
RG: Matthew Bedford, Dave Iuli, Lipe Moala/Bryce Boulton
RT: Gernorris Wilson OR Alex Harkey
WR1: Malik Benson, Kyler Kasper, Jurrion Dickey
WR2: Justius Lowe, Jeremiah McClellan/Dakorien Moore
WR3: Evan Stewart, Gary Bryant Jr Ryan Pellum
TE1: Kenyon Sadiq, Vander Ploog
TE2: Jamari Johnson, Roger Saleapaga, AJ Pugliano

(defense showing 12 positions)
DE: Matayo Uiagelelei, Jaedon Moore Elijah Rushing
NT: Bear Alexander, Terrance Green, Jericho Johnson
DT: A'Mauri Washington, My'keil Gardner
DE: Teitum Tuioti
OLB: Blake Purchase Emar'rion Winston, Jaxson Jones
ILB1: Devon Jackson, Kamar Mothudi/Brayden Platt
ILB2: Bryce Boettcher Jerry Mixon, Dylan Williams
Nickel: Daylen Austin, (backup corner)
S1: Payton Woodyard, Aaron Flowers
S2: Dillon Thieneman, Tyler Turner, Khamari Terrell/Soloman Davis
CB1: Theran Johnson, Rodrick Pleasant/Sione Laulea
CB2: Jahlil Florence, Dakoda Fields/Ify Obidegwu

^^^ I think you forgot to include Evan Stewart and to remove Ryan Pellum. Also, do you have Doug Utu on the chart or is he a major project?

Thanks for catching that. I looked at the WR spots and felt like something was off but couldn't figure it out.

Regarding Utu, I don't think he's a major project but I also don't think he's going to jump any of the guys in the 2-deep. I don't think quite as highly of him as I do his teammate Alai Kalaniuvalu, but unfortunately he's going on a mission before he enrolls with the Ducks. I think Utu ends up playing in the interior, so hopefully he's ready in year 2 when Pregnon, Bedford, and Iuli are all gone.

Jamaree Caldwell isn't on there because I expected him to go pro and so far we haven't heard otherwise.
